Preference
Thank you for producing such a well-considered line of foods for dogs and cats. Both of my dogs developed food sensitivities after suffering GI infections. Your foods, Preference specifically, have been the only things they've eaten that hasn't caused any problems at all. They also love the stuff, practically demanding that their food be the very first thing prepared at mealtimes! With the absence of any grains, flax or seeds like sesame, Preference is well-digested by my pups. The daily presence of a variety of fresh, raw meat is a constant source of enthusiasm and enjoyment. They've never been in better health. Thanks!
I was feeding my 12 year old female Pug Priscilla Senior Plus Innova for a few years until she started get red ears & her belly had a rash on it. I was feeding her Happy Dog too and the barley bothered her. I decided to try your Preference adding meat to eat and oh my god she is so happy and not finiky anymore. She barks every morning and night when I am preparing her Preference. Thank You Honest Kitchen for your wonderful food lines!

I started using Preference about a week ago. I can't believe how much my dog loves the food. She has always been very a picky eater and now she begs for her meals. I add cooked meat and some cottage cheese. Great product!

I feed a raw diet to my dogs and I'm always concerned whether or not they are getting a balanced diet. I was making my own vegetable base and freezing it, but this extra step in feeding a raw diet was getting to be very time consuming. Then I found preference. It is a nutritionally balanced base for the raw meat and my dogs love it! I don't have to spend extra on additional vitamin supplements when I feed Preference because it is all in there already!

I have been feeding Honest Kitchen since the food scare made it impossible for me to feel good about feeding commercial dry dog foods, and the food recommended for allergy dogs was recalled that she was eating. My Yorkie is allergic to several foods, and the choices were slim to none between what was being recalled and what she is allergic to. When I found Honest Kitchen, I was overjoyed that there was something that would be good for her and that would not pose any problems with her allergic reactions. I have two other small dogs, Brussels Griffons, that eat the Preference that I have her on, with my own ground chuck added.
In closing, I will add that all three of my dogs have thrived on this food. My food allergic Yorkie has grown hair at an amazing rate. Her hair was short and thin. Now, in less than 6 months, her hair touches the floor and has tripled in volume and thickness. All 3 dogs' hair has thickened greatly. They all have more energy and feel better than they have since they were puppies. I am sold on your product, and even the inconvenience of having to cook the meat is minimal when compared to how well they are doing on it.

When I first discovered your food I was ecstatic, but the cost was daunting... especially considering I have to feed five dogs, three of which are over 60 lbs. I broke down and ordered Force and Preference to try. What an amazing difference your food has made. The dog with allergies no longer shows any symptoms, they all gobble the food up with relish and I actually have to feed less than you recommend.
While I still pay more than I did before, your product is worth every penny.

I am owned by 3 Shih Tzu with different allergies and medical issues. This is the first time in years that I have them all on the same food. My 15 year old is allergic to most proteins and rice and has sebhorea and ear infections. My 6 year old was diagnosed with crystals and has been plagued with hot spots the last two years. She can eat no processed food with chicken in it. My 4 year old only has a weight issue. I had the two on Timerberwolf and my Senior on IVD potatoes and venison. Even though I have to vary the proteins, they are all eating the Preference. They love it. They lie beside their bowls waiting for it to process. They finish their bowls completely, which my picky 6 year old has never done.
Their fur is so soft and growing quickly. My Senior has had no problems with itching or ears. My 6 year old has had no hot spots. I am anxious to see what the results are from my 6 year old's urine test in another couple of weeks.
