1. SPONSOR:
This Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by The Honest Kitchen (“Sponsor 1”) and Naturepedic (“Sponsor 2”) (collectively, the “Sponsors”).
2. ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsors and their affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies, and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household, are not eligible. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
The Sweepstakes begins on April, 7, 2025 at 12:00am Eastern Time and ends on April 26, 2025 at 11:59pm Eastern Time (the "Sweepstakes Period").
4. HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, participants must complete the following steps during the Sweepstakes Period:
· Step 1: Submit a photo of you and your dog or just dog and a story about your dog (“Submission”) through the submission form
· Step 2: Sign up for The Honest Kitchen’s the Naturepedic’s e-newsletters
· Step 3 (optional): Follow The Honest Kitchen and Naturepedic on Instagram.
You must have an Instagram account to enter. An Instagram account is free. Entries must be received by April 26, 2025 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. Limit 1 entry per person. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more than once by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
5. REQUIREMENTS OF SUBMISSIONS:
All Submissions:
· Must be your original work. Submissions MUST NOT copy or otherwise plagiarize from any source.
· MUST NOT contain material which is (or promote activities which are) in Sponsors’ sole discretion, hateful, slanderous, libelous, tortious, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, inappropriate, violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing; or contain material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group or world peace; or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group; or contain images, words or text portraying nudity, acts of violence, or acts that are or appear to be unlawful or dangerous or in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Entry is created in their application.
· MUST NOT contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement. Without limiting the foregoing, entry submissions must not include third-party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculptures, except those of Sponsors. Submissions must not include mention or performance of any copyrighted media production including but not limited to commercial music, books, articles, photographs, artwork, etc.
· MUST NOT include third parties, including but not limited to minors, celebrities or friends, who have not expressly authorized entrant to display their name, story, image or likeness in any submission or otherwise use such names, stories, images or likenesses in accordance with these Official Rules. Entrant must be prepared to provide signed third-party authorizations upon request.
Submissions will not be judged on their content, as the Sweepstakes winner will be chosen via random drawing as set forth in Paragraph 6 below. By entering a Submission, entrant agrees that Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may remove any entry and disqualify an entrant from the Sweepstakes if they believe, in their sole discretion, that the entrant’s entry fails to conform to the foregoing conditions or these Official Rules, or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Sweepstakes.
By entering a Submission, entrant hereby grants permission for the Submission to be posted on Sponsors’ websites, social media platforms, and Sponsors’ or their affiliates’ other websites, applications, advertising, or social media platforms, both during and after the Sweepstakes Period. Entrant agrees that Sponsors are not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. Sponsors do not guarantee the posting of any entry.
6. SELECTION OF WINNER:
One (1) winner will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will take place on or about April 27, 2025. The winner will be notified by Instagram DM within 30-days after the drawing. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. PRIZE(S):
By Entering, you will receive a code to buy 1 item from TheHonestKitchen.com and get 1 free treat. Eligible on all treats. Only valid at TheHonestKitchen.com through May 2, 2025 11:59pm EST. The promo code will be available on the submitted page, which is shown upon completion of the entry form. You can enter that code at checkout to save. The winner will receive the following prize(s):
· 1 year of The Honest Kitchen pet food (ARV: $2,400)
· 1 mattress from Naturepedic (ARV: $2,000)
Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $4,400.
Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
8. WINNER REQUIREMENTS:
The winner must respond to the winner notification within 24 hours of the notification. If the winner does not respond within the required time, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries. Winner agrees to furnish Sponsors with and/or execute any additional document(s) requested by Sponsors in connection with the awarding of the prize.
9. PRIZE CONDITIONS:
All taxes, fees, and other expenses related to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. If the prize is unavailable, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or lesser value. The prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries, or for any technical malfunctions that may prevent an entry from being received. If, in the Sponsors' opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify this Sweepstakes in a manner deemed appropriate by the Sponsors in their sole discretion. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of date of termination. The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or any other social networks that are used to share the Sweepstakes. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsors of the Sweepstakes and not to Instagram or any other social networks.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, loss, injury, or damage arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
12. PRIVACY:
Personal information provided by participants will be used by the Sponsors to administer the Sweepstakes, notify the winner, and for other purposes in accordance with the Sponsors' privacy policies. By entering, participants consent to the use of their information for these purposes. Participants may unsubscribe at any time from Sponsors’ marketing emails.
13. DISPUTES:
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego, California.
14. PUBLICITY:
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s grant to Sponsors (which grant will be confirmed in writing on request of Sponsors) the right and permission to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the entrant’s Submission, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, stories, photos, videos, opinions and biographical information (including but not limited to hometown and state) for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without additional consideration, compensation, permission, or notification. Submissions are deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary and Sponsors shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such Submissions. Sponsors shall be free to edit, exploit, modify, publish, reproduce, use, disclose, disseminate and distribute the Submissions to others without limitation in any and all media now known or not currently known, throughout the world in perpetuity for any purpose without compensation, permission or notification to entrant or any third-party. Entrant hereby grants to the Sponsors and their legal representatives, successors and assigns, an irrevocable, and worldwide license to use in perpetuity the Submissions in any form or format and to modify the same, and acknowledges and agrees that if Sponsors do use the Submissions, entrant shall not be entitled to any credit, consideration, notice or payments of any kind. If any use by Sponsors of the Submissions causes them to be liable to any third-party, entrant agrees to indemnify Sponsors and their agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, representative and all related parties from and against any and all damages, costs, judgments and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) which it incurs as a result of its use of the Submissions.
